Warehouse Specialist (nonCDL Driver)
Position Summary
Help Drive Sustainability at Securis! The Warehouse Specialist (nonCDL Driver) is responsible for transporting recycled materials to and from our Chantilly, VA warehouse and also for assisting with the secure destruction of data and the moving of equipment within the facility. He/she exudes stellar communication skills and provides Securis’ clients with excellent customer service.
This position is full-time (Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm) with occasional opportunities for overtime and occasional overnight travel. Candidates must be able to satisfactorily pass a background check, including driving record and must be a US citizen in order to service all customer sites. Candidates may also be required to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Safely operate company vehicles ((26 ft box truck under 26,000 lbs weight).
- Load and unload trucks prior to and at the completion of a given project. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the warehouse and company vehicles.
- Use electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system.
- Operate equipment that destroys hard drives and computer tapes.
- Assist in the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience.
- Maintain the operating condition of all warehouse tools and machinery used to execute Securis's primary functions.
- Process equipment, which includes the manual disassembly of electronic equipment and putting those components in a specified container.
- Operate a pallet jack including building and maneuvering boxes on pallets.
- Attend and participate in weekly operations meetings.
- Maintain the current physical security protocols.

Experience
- Professional driving experience and clean driving record (2 years driving box truck or similar vehicles preferred)
- At least one year of related experience and/or training
- DOT medical card preferred
Computer Skills
- Basic knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
Educational Background
- High school diploma or GED
