Warehouse Specialist SHORT-TERM PROJECT - Fair Logistics

POSITION SUMMARY

• This role focuses on the receiving section of the warehouse: both FedEx & checking in surgical implants returning from surgery. The following is a summary of some of the duties you will perform while in this role:

  • Train on multiple different product lines.
  • Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages.
  • Interact with the team during service level investigations.
  • Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product errors.
  • Use computers to maintain accurate account records and shipment of inventory.
  • Support management in preparation for branch audits.
  • Additional accountabilities include:
  • Processing incoming orders for materials, merchandise, or services; informing customers of receipt, shipping, and delays.
  • Handling urgent requests.
  • Tracking inventory and maintaining accurate records.
  • Review overdue shipment returns and partner with dispatcher to schedule the return.
  • Receiving inbound FedEx shipments.
  • Managing and maintaining inventory par levels for consignment inventory.

PAY STRUCTURE

$23.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | W-2 with no benefits

SHIFT DAYS & TIMES

Monday-Friday | 6:30a to 2:00p | *No Weekends*

THIS IS A SHORT-TERM PROJECT LASTING UNTIL LATE DECEMBER OR EARLY JANUARY WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION OR PERMANENT POSITION!

• Must live in Bloomfield, CT or a surrounding area.
• Must have high school diploma or GED (this will be verified).
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation as attendance and punctuality is important.
• Must have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs.
• Must have good prioritization and demonstrated organizational skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be attentive to details.
• Must be able to work autonomously as well as with a team.
• Must be a team player and professional in all settings.
• Must be on time, dependable, ethical and possess high integrity.
• Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and a hard work ethic.
• Must possess adaptability and flexibility.
• Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
• Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
