Overview:
Responsible and accountable for executing the procurement of purchased products, materials and supplies for the company.
Qualifications:- Associate's degree required
- Two years prior supervisory experience in manufacturing industry required.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving is required.
- Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology preferred.
- Must exhibit strong leadership skills and ability to train, mentor, and develop team members.
- Must demonstrate ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex sets of data.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a wet environment.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Exposure to egg and milk allergens.
- Order and maintain warehouse supplies to support all manufacturing needs through the Ariba ordering system.
- Process invoices and shipping orders through the Ariba ordering system.
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Maintain all SQF documents pertinent to areas of responsibility.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Assisting with deliveries when required.
- Supervise, lead, and mentor blow mold employees.
- Provide assistance to Production Supervisors as it relates to training, improving efficiency of production operations, data evaluation, effective and efficient utilization of equipment and people, and process optimization.
- Prioritize blow mold employee’s workload, assisting Production Supervisors in scheduling and assessing performance.
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, identify and implement opportunities to improve processes.
- Comply with and enforce all company work and safety rules and regulatory compliance rules and regulations.
- Use and enforce use of all personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Develop and maintain a positive, productive relationship with supply chain leadership team.
- Partner with all functional departments to ensure meeting business unit and company safety, service, cost, and people goals.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
