About the Job
PURPOSE OF JOB
As a Warehouse Supervisor in our Manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and inventory. Your main objective will be to ensure that all products are received, stored, and shipped out efficiently and accurately. You will be expected to supervise a small team, ensuring that they are properly trained and motivated to meet our high standards of productivity and safety. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained.RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates to ensure that all daily operations are completed efficiently and accurately
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all products are properly stored and accounted for
- Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve productivity and safety
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all products are shipped out on time and in good condition
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage your team and collaborate with other departments.
- You will also need to have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes to ensure that all products are properly stored and accounted for.
- Additionally, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
- Finally, having experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
