WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - THIRD SHIFT 12AM TO 8AM - Gary Plastic Packaging - Bronx Facility

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team for the third shift, from 12 AM to 8 AM, at our facility located in Spring Hill, FL, 34610. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations during the third shift.
• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to promote a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
• Maintian inventory accuracy in our ERP system
• Manage stock control to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse performance metrics and employee productivity.
• Address and resolve any operational issues or employee concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Proven experience operating forklifts
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Spanish
