Purpose:

Serves as warehouse team lead member by offering constructive support/mentoring to other team members, while assisting with day to day operations to include all aspects of shipping/receiving, scheduling, inventory control, equipment tracking, training, and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Complies with health and safety programs
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment in all warehouse areas
• Performs same duties as a warehouse associate
• Serve as secondary support to shipping/receiving clerks
• Manages movement and transfers of materials to include shipping and receiving via DC Link and JDE
• Responsible for overseeing daily operations outlined by Supervisor
• Oversee team members by prioritizing tasks and making sure tasks are completed timely and efficiently
• Responsible for ensuring that daily scheduled orders are completed and shipped timely
• Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
• Promote quality across the team while meeting daily goals
• Training of team members in order to stay in compliance with Certifications level I, II, and III
• Provide detailed feedback on the level of performance of warehouse associates to Supervisor
• Inspect all work equipment and provide condition feedback to Supervisor
• Foster good communication within the team
• Ensure all outgoing material meets company standards and proper documentation is processed/signed accurately
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must have three years minimum warehouse experience
• Positive team-oriented attitude with ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Must possess strong sense of urgency and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task, assign and monitor multiple team tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records
• Ability to offer team support/direction in an advisory role and coach team members in achieving performance goals
• Physical capability to stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
