Responsibilities:
Purpose:
Serves as warehouse team lead member by offering constructive support/mentoring to other team members, while assisting with day to day operations to include all aspects of shipping/receiving, scheduling, inventory control, equipment tracking, training, and other assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Complies with health and safety programs
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment in all warehouse areas
- Performs same duties as a warehouse associate
- Serve as secondary support to shipping/receiving clerks
- Manages movement and transfers of materials to include shipping and receiving via DC Link and JDE
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations outlined by Supervisor
- Oversee team members by prioritizing tasks and making sure tasks are completed timely and efficiently
- Responsible for ensuring that daily scheduled orders are completed and shipped timely
- Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
- Promote quality across the team while meeting daily goals
- Training of team members in order to stay in compliance with Certifications level I, II, and III
- Provide detailed feedback on the level of performance of warehouse associates to Supervisor
- Inspect all work equipment and provide condition feedback to Supervisor
- Foster good communication within the team
- Ensure all outgoing material meets company standards and proper documentation is processed/signed accurately
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must have three years minimum warehouse experience
- Positive team-oriented attitude with ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must possess strong sense of urgency and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, assign and monitor multiple team tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records
- Ability to offer team support/direction in an advisory role and coach team members in achieving performance goals
- Physical capability to stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
