Warehouse Team Lead - G-Global

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. This role involves leading and motivating a team of warehouse associates to achieve productivity goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates, including receiving, storing, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and accuracy.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates to improve their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory, orders, and shipments.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Analyze and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and shipping procedures.
• Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.[1] 
• Forklift certification is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Basic math, advanced english language, and reading skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
