Warehouse Worker/Backup Driver - Amarr Garage Doors

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1.Performs warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations2.Performs light assembly tasks within the guidelines of product specifications3.Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks4.Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner5.Assist in the completion of production orders6.Accurately load customers (Inspect for damaged materials)7.Unload and accurately receive incoming product8.Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs during loading9.Maintain and practice company safety policies and procedures10.Provides assistance to Door Center Management or staff to safely conduct business11.Provide building and product security including inventory & damage control12.Operates vehicle to transport material to assigned destinations a minimum of 25 hours per week13.Maintains Federal/State required logs14.Assists with loading and unloading of truck15.Assumes responsibility for cash or company credit card and submits timely expense reports16.Assist in the development of an annual Individual Development Plan (IDP) and meet all training targets as spelled out in the IDP and by corporate goals17.Perform other duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1.Must perform work in non-climate controlled warehouse facility2.Extended time on feet; walking distances up to 200 feet3.Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of hand /power tools4.Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying and lifting (up to 50 pounds)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:1.High School Education2.Ability to learn product and work under pressure3.Must have a clean driving record4.Mechanically inclined5.Good communication and telephone skills6.Ability to operate power tools7.Previous experience desirableEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
