Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, your primary function will be to ensure the safe operations of delivering warehouse inventory, maintaining and upkeeping of product control with ease, record keeping, and handling the organization of warehouse fulfillment of shipments and material goods orders in a competitive business.

Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 45 am to 5 00 pm.

Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Warehouse and driving responsibilities are essential to performing this job
• Drives delivery vehicle for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites.
• Manage deliveries with warehouse and carriers
• Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct.
• Communicate with vendors regarding any problems or issues with materials, delivery status, etc.
• Delivers a variety of items (e.g. boxes, packages, cargo, office supplies, furniture, equipment, testing materials etc.) for the purpose of distributing items to assigned locations and/or individuals.
• Maintains documents, files and records (e.g. tracking on line shipments, equipment transfer forms, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information.
• Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area

Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• Clean MVR
• Required to perform basic math; understand written procedures, write routine documents, and speak clearly; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions
• required to schedule activities and/or meetings; collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment
• Problem solving, flexible in a variety of warehouse schedules; setting priorities; physical stamina; and the ability to read, write and communicate clearly
• Performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and strong physical dexterity.
• Solid experience receiving, storing and delivering supplies in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent customer service and communications Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
