Warehouse Worker - Turtle Fur

Job Summary:

We are seeking workers to join our dedicated Warehouse team during our busy season. This is a temporary position for the months of August through approximately January, with some flexibility on available time frame and full-time hours. We are a caring, close-knit team and offer a safe, fun, and reliable work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities/ Scope of Authority:

• No supervisory responsibilities.
• This role receives direction and authority from the Distribution & Logistics Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general warehouse duties, which include, unloading trucks, order picking and stocking items received
• Accurately and efficiently pick all orders
• Labeling and re-tooling of warehouse as needed
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Notify proper personnel of any damages and differences inventory control
• Verify any quality problems and report in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Overtime may be required at times
• Provide count verifications as needed, cycle count finished goods
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to safely operate warehouse moving devices such as pallet jacks and dolly’s
• Effective communications (writing and verbal) within all departments
• Team Oriented, flexible, reliable, dependable and cooperative
• Ability to perform basic math skills such as adding or multiplying
• Intermediate computer skills such as e-mail and inventory look up
• Support all other departments as the business needs arise

• None

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Work off and around roll around ladders
