The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a dealership as a warranty administrator and possess strong interpersonal skills. Warranty Administrator Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Previous experience working in a new car automotive dealership is required.
- Experience with CDK is preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet the company’s production and quality standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas.
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk.
- Infrequently bend, twist, or stoop.
- Infrequently kneel or squat.
- Lift 25 to 50 lbs.
- Infrequently reach or lift overhead.
- Infrequently climb stairs.
- Regularly perform repetitive hand/finger movements.
- Infrequently grasp or grab with hands.
- Push and pull as needed.

- Commit to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening actively.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Maintain a follow-up system to ensure completion of assigned projects.

- Review and analyze actions regularly to optimize time management and planning.
- Stay informed about industry terminology and technological advancements in products and services.
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing the company’s business.

- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Job-Specific Expectations:
- Review each warranty claim for proper preparation.
- Prepare warranty claims for submission.
- Input warranty claims for payment in a timely manner.
- Follow up on warranty claims according to the receivable schedule.
- Advise the service manager/team leader of any improper warranty claims.
- Assist customers as needed.
- Support dispatching as required.
- Handle telephone calls as needed.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Keep the work area clean.
