Responsibilities
- Leads the centralized warranty function at the Business Support Center providing warranty compliance for all US dealerships.
- Manages warranty compliance as it applies to Service Managers, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators and Fixed Operations Managers.
- Knowledge of claims coding and submission; troubleshooting claims
- Understanding of dealer processes and applying this towards analysis and recommendations
- A thorough understanding of warranty compliance policies and procedures.
- Follows and delivers proven training strategy as well as warranty training to employees to support their claims submission
- Monitors dealership performance and follows up as needed
- Maintains communication with management as well as dealership personnel
Qualifications
- Greater Houston Area candidate preferred, not required!
- Substantial retail automotive service management experience, warranty administration, service advisor
- Knowledge of all aspects of in-dealership operations
- Strong presentation, facilitation, persuasion, and motivational skills.
- Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Exceptional organizational skills for proactively leading people, developing schedules and documenting work
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- High personal level of ethics
- Detail oriented, quantitative analysis, multi-tasking/prioritizing
Possess a sense of urgency in completing tasks
Understand the dealer audit process
