We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Waste Water Operator (3M or 4M) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating waste water treatment systems and processes. You will be part of a team that emphasizes the importance of safety, efficiency, and compliance with environmental regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position that demands a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain waste water treatment systems and processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Monitor and adjust control systems to optimize the performance of the waste water treatment process.
- Collect and analyze samples to monitor process efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure safety and efficiency in all operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff members in the operation and maintenance of waste water treatment systems.
- Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Waste Water Operator in the manufacturing industry.
- Possession of a valid 3M or 4M Waste Water Operator license.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining waste water treatment systems.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair waste water treatment equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
