Water Heating Lead Engineer - Oxford Solutions, Inc

Oxford Solutions has a client in search of a Water Heating Lead Engineer. 

The Water Heating Lead Engineer will play a critical role in the engineering team, leading the planning and execution of engineering analysis, product design, and development for commercial and residential water heating systems. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of commercial and residential water heating products. They will be knowledgeable about industry standards and have a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects. This individual will be a proactive leader with a passion for innovation and excellence in water heating solutions.


Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering analysis, design, and development of water heating products, including commercial water heating systems and tankless water heaters.
• Ensure all products meet and exceed program requirements and comply with CSA, DOE, AHRI, Energy Star, and ANSI standards.
• Develop and execute test plans, including application development, field testing, certification, and reliability assessment.
• Utilize SolidWorks or similar 3D software for product design and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years' experience in engineering applications and product development fields related to commercial water heating systems and tankless water heaters
• Strong understanding of CSA, DOE, AHRI, Energy Star, and ANSI standards.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D design software.
• Proven experience leading the development of test plans, including application development, field testing, certification, and reliability assessment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
