Randall Architectural Ironworks is currently seeking a top-tier Water Jet, Turret Punch, Router & Press Brake Operator to work in our Shop / Headquarters in Apopka, FL for Theme Park and Specialty Metal projects across Central Florida. Position Summary
Randall Architectural Ironworks combines expert craftsmanship, cutting edge technology and passion for their trade to create and execute extraordinary designs. From concept to completion, skilled professionals craft custom metal manufacturing for building cladding (ACM, IMP, etc.) railings, displays, kiosks, signage and wayfinding.
Essential Functions
- Have knowledge and experience setting up, operating, maintaining, and performing minor repairs on a variety of machines used in our fabricating process including: cnc punch press, folder, CNC Router, waterjet and press brake with graphical controls
- Be exceptionally detail oriented
- Value and exhibit safe working methods
- Be familiar with operating within a strict Quality Control Program with proper documentation
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with these machines
- Metalix Software programming a big plus, but not required
Desired Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Communication skills (can speak to people in a professional environment).
- Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements
This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. , be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
