Water Resource Engineer

6 month contract-to-hire
Pay Range: $41.00 - $50.00per hr / Salary Target: $85K - $100K

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Water Resource Engineer who is experienced in designing, implementing, and managing multiple water resource projects at one time. They will ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain good client relations. This person will have experience working with Primavera and/or Prolog construction software and is familiar with current water engineering advancements and trends. They will also be able to mentor junior engineers and track project progress by performing site visits and inspections. This person will be skilled in analyzing technical documents, maps, schematics, and blueprints to ensure compliance to project timetables and plans. They will handle the reviewing of subdivision and site plans as well as the expansion of the water distribution system.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in water resource engineering
• Pricipal Engineering License
• Water tank/well design a must
• Must know how to budget and plan for water resource projects
• Knowledgeable in blueprint reading/interpreting
• Proficient with Primavera/Prolog construction software
• Great water district client/contractor relationship skills
• Project Management (multiple projects at once)

• Fluent in Spanish
