About the Job
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Follows all work safety policies/guidelines
- Operates water treatment facility in the most economical and efficient manner in accordance with company, MN Dept of Health and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency standards.
- Performs in-plant lab testing to obtain accurate and consistence results.
- Conducts preventative maintenance program on all equipment keeping it in good working order at all times to assure continuous operation.
- Perform maintenance on all equipment including repairing, installing and rebuilding as necessary.
- Basic knowledge of Membrane Bio Reactor System
- Assist in maintaining grounds.
- Other duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Class D water and wastewater license.
- Working skill in Water Treatment plant operations.
- Working knowledge of chemical analysis procedures
- Working knowledge of computer usage
- Considerable ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 pounds)
- Working skills in maintenance and repair
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent attendance required.
