As a Wealth Manager at MassMutual Greater Los Angeles, you will play a strategic role in managing, protecting, and multiplying our clients' wealth. You'll work closely with clients to understand their financial goals, develop customized financial plans, and advise them on a vast array of financial products and investments. This demanding but rewarding role requires exceptional analytical skills, a commitment to client service and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze clients' financial status, set up investment strategies, and monitor client's portfolio investments.
- Develop long-term goals and strategic relationships with each client through proactive, personalized financial planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that clients’ financial plan are coordinated efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines, as well as the organization's policies.
- Finding and providing ongoing client service and respond promptly to client requests and inquiries.
Desired Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or relevant field; a master's will be an advantage.
- At least five years direct wealth management experience with high net-worth individuals.
- Current, valid licenses (Series 7,63 and/or 66) as well as a Life and Health License.
- Proven knowledge of financial products, portfolio management, and investment strategies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and listening skills, coupled with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Nice-to-Haves:
- An advanced degree in Financial Planning or Business Administration.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or willingness to pursue.
- Previous experience with a leading financial services firm.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and other related tools.
- Excellent problem-solving attitude, along with a passion for staying current with economic and financial markets trends.
