Salary:        Minimum salary $5,483.00 monthly - Commensurate with experience

Overview:

Performs highly responsible technical work in the analysis and evaluation of operations to determine the needs of internet/intranet systems; analyzes designs, codes and tests complex internet/intranet processes; as a senior team member, assists in performing data analysis work for complex internet/intranet projects; has advanced knowledge of browser-based internet/intranet technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Writes complex internet/intranet processes in the JAVA programming language and interprets internet/intranet processes to understand logic flow for the purpose of creating technical data processing documentation, requiring attention to information detail; accesses code residing on the development serve in order to interpret, write, modify and document the application.
• Prepares, defines, modifies or designs complex data processing system definitions, forms, flowcharts, block diagrams and procedures; develops generalized and detailed systems design; converts symbolic statements of processes to detailed logical work flowcharts for coding; prepares comprehensive systems and programming documentation for complex systems.
• Develops and applies advanced cross-checks and auditing procedures to assure accuracy and reliable practices in internet/intranet systems operations and to determine and correct deviations from specifications; resolves application intent, output requirements, data acquisition, and the use of internal checks and controls for programming functions.
• Coordinates and directs feasibility studies to determine the practicality and economics of converting to internet/intranet systems; develops data system specifications in the overall design; develops and coordinates the development of logic diagrams and flowcharts necessary to accomplish the conversion.
• Coordinates major internet/intranet projects including planning, scheduling and coordination of programmers and analysts to develop operational procedures related to implementation.
• Takes responsibility for portions of the highly technical aspects of application systems.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of two (2) years of college, with Computer Science coursework and two and one-half (2.5) years of technical systems and programming experience as would be gained as an Information Systems Technician.
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Requires a valid Illinois Driver's License.
