Location and Work Schedule:
This position is based in Dover, NH, and requires you to be in-person five days per week.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel may be required for project collaboration as needed.
Web Developer Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the company website and internal web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Work closely with the marketing team to design and integrate visually compelling web content, including graphic design elements when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into web solutions.
- Regularly update web content to reflect current company offerings and announcements.
- Ensure website security and optimize performance for speed and reliability.
- Design web features that enhance customer engagement and improve lead generation.
- Conduct A/B testing and other data-driven techniques to optimize user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular).
- Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, or Python) is a plus.
- Proficient in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web design.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or a custom-built CMS.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for firearms and familiarity with the industry is highly desirable.
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Graphic design experience is preferred but not required. What matters most is your ability to deliver web solutions with precision and an eye for design that cuts through the noise and elevates our brand.
