Web Developer (On-site in Olathe, KS) - Hyfin

Hyfin is fast growing technology company offering a full featured, automated accounts receivable solution that helps businesses get paid fast and reduce merchant processing fees, saving them time and money. In addition to our signature invoicing that allows customers to pay by text or email, we offer the ability to collect payments through automatic payments, recurring payments, hosted payments page, and virtual terminal or by accessing our simple API to quickly integrate our contactless payments features into software applications.

Position Overview:

As JavaScript Developer, you will be a part of creating and enhancing web applications. You will use JavaScript (Svelte, Node), Windi CSS (tailwind), NoSQL (MongoDB), to build functions, build web-apps, interfaces, and third-party integrations to help make payments easier and faster for our clients. What you will do:

• Using JavaScript libraries to build web-apps.
• Building and editing backend functions and logic to support large scale and evolving business use-cases.
• Writing code to integrate with 3rd party APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.)
• Discuss and interface with external software vendors about integrated solutions.
• Designing/Building internal tools for increasing organizational efficiency, client configurations, and optimizing client onboarding.
• Using JIRA to track and update development tasks.
• Partaking in daily stand-ups and release planning.

What you will need:

• Programming experience in languages such as JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, NodeJS, JSON
• Write clear, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
• Document Database experience (Ex. MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with tools such as Git, NPM, etc.
• Experience in software engineering that is not language specific
• Asynchronous vs Synchronous software design experience
• Must have strong problem-solving, communication skills and fluent in English
• Willingness to contribute and grow with a responsive team
• UI/UX design a plus
