POSITION SUMMARY:
The Web Manager is responsible for creating dynamic, visually appealing, and highly functional web pages for the Sisters of St. Joseph tailored to a nonprofit audience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field related to web development or technology.
- Expert knowledge of website programming and graphic design software (WordPress, Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge NXT, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development technologies.
- Strong ability to think critically and creatively about web communications.
- Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles and web best practices.
- Experience with SEO and web analytics to improve searchability and performance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in working with nontechnical staff.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with the mission and values of the Sisters of St. Joseph is a plus.
- Prior experience in nonprofit is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Webpage Mastery: Design, build, and optimize web pages and site features for the Sisters of St. Joseph using Blackbaud's CMS within WordPress. Implement custom modules and layouts to meet the organization's specific needs.
- Website Development: Review, plan, develop and launch new sections and features to enhance our website.
- Content Management: Keep website content fresh, accurate, and compelling by collaborating with different departments to gather relevant updates from all ministries.
- Develop and maintain the website calendar and process.
- Monitor Site Analytics: Monitor, assess, and report on website performance. Track site analytics and develop monitoring dashboards for performance tracking. Work closely with internal teams to advise on web analytics. Maintain and update SEO tools.
- Integration Management: Implement and manage integrations between the website and other Blackbaud tools to streamline operations and improve the user experience.
- Updates and Maintenance: Regularly maintain and update the website to ensure peak performance, security, and functionality.
- Digital Distribution: Assist the Communications team in developing and sharing internal and external messages.
- Collaboration: Partner with departments across the organization to align web content with the mission and goals of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain a smooth user experience.
- Adopt Best Practices: Stay informed on the latest trends in web development, design, technologies, and user experience to ensure the website remains modern and effective.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing, comprehensive training for the Communications and Mission Advancement staff in regard to Blackbaud and Raiser's Edge as it relates to event registration and donations, when necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job typically operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, staplers, phones, etc.
