MDG is seeking an experienced Web Project Manager to join our team!
The Web Project Manager supports the agency by exhibiting the core values; Dedication, Responsibility, Integrity, Vision, and Excellence. As the Web Project Manager, you’ll wear many hats, ultimately leading mid-size to large web development projects from initial concept to launch, day-to-day management of multiple digital projects concurrently, including site builds and launches, landing pages, email campaigns, and ongoing digital marketing campaigns.You’ll guide the clients through the entire web design and development process, working with our design, development, content, and marketing teams, to create lead generating and brand-focused websites.
MDG follows a hybrid work model of Monday/Friday remote and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our Boca Raton office. Our scheduled work hours are 9a-6p every day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead web projects through discovery and planning to development implementation
- Provide technical and functional direction to team members, as well as assign and manage the workload
- Partner with multiple teams across our company to prioritize projects by understanding the scope, requirements, level of effort, and state of our pipeline, and clarifying trade-offs when changes are made to that plan.
- Implement software development team tools to maximize efficiency, productivity, and mitigate risks.
- Forecast resources needed to achieve goals and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Manage communication of active work, backlog, priorities and risks to developers and other stakeholders.
- Liaison with clients and account team members for technical project requests
- Address and resolve issues that may arise during the project development process
- Measure project performance and productivity to identify areas for improvement
- Track the execution projects against your plan. Manage project documentation and report on project status, backlog, and resources.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring that quality standards are met
- Support other areas needed to keep projects moving forward.
- Work cross collaboratively to define goals for the next quarter.
- Document, refine, and improve current processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Required
- Must be located within commutable distance of Boca Raton Office to fulfill our hybrid work model
- 4-6 years of web project management and/or web development experience in an agency setting
- Experience with project management tools, preferably Hive
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts
- A success-focused mindset and ability to creatively problem solve
- Ability to organize effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
- Strong technical, analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to understand challenges and risks in order to provide timely recommendations and drive decisions.
- Advanced organizational and project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the most important initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to be able to influentially drive alignment among stakeholders while ensuring execution accountability across teams.
- Knowledge of UE software
- General experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, and hosting setup a plus
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
- Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM)
Preferred
- Experience as a web designer and/or WordPress full-stack developer
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience with CRMs
