Belmark is seeking an individual to join our team at our Pressure Sensitive plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, pressure sensitive, cartons, and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting operators on the floor by ensuring the proper equipment, tools, and materials are staged by their machines. This also includes the removal of equipment, tools, and materials once the operators are done using them. Increased production efficiency should be the result of these efforts. Responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the area to the standards set in place. May cross train and fill in on the equipment if or when needed. Schedule:
- 1st shift hours are from 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Pay:
- $20.50 - $24 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
What will I do in this role?
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
- Responsible for pulling and putting away dies.
- Working with the shift supervisors and leads in staging work by the correct machines.
- May be asked to get UV, over laminate, or other supplies that are needed.
- Pulling and putting away cores for operators as well as refilling bins when needed.
- Responsible for the overall appearance of the production area (i.e. sweeping floor, squaring up/cleaning up pallets, emptying garbage, etc.).
- May cross train on the machines to fill in if or when needed.
- Making sure supply cabinet and UV shelf/drum is stocked as well as replacing waste drum when needed.
- May transfer material on and off elevator and into correct bins.
- May be asked to help stage material, grab supplies, empty garbage by press.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisors/manager.
- Will have job duties specific to our Hazardous Waste Management Program for the proper disposal of spent solvents, waste inks and other designated waste products. Some of the responsibilities include the placement of waste solvents/inks in designated waste drums, labeling of waste drums and moving waste drums to designated storage locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires high school education or education equivalent.
- Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fraction as well as utilize standard and metric numbers.
- Ability to meet deadlines. May be required to work some overtime.
- Requires nearly constant concentration ad attention to detail.
- Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of the work time, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of the work time.
- Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
- Ability to; use hands for 100% of the work time (i.e. wrenches, scissors, etc.); reach above shoulders for 50% of the work time; and use feet to operate machine for 30% of the work time.
- Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of the work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of the work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of the work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of the work time. (Example: lifting a roll of laminate to and from the machine).
- May be required to use sense of smell.
