We are seeking a skilled and data-driven Website Analyst to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, website testing, and optimization, with a focus on providing insights that drive business performance.
You will be responsible for analyzing website traffic, behavior, and performance, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of testing strategies to improve user experience and conversion rates. Your deep understanding of web analytics tools, single-page applications, and advanced data modeling techniques will be critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze website performance, user behavior, and traffic trends using web analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Business Suite) to deliver actionable insights.
Build and optimize macros in Excel to streamline reporting and automate data workflows.
Leverage statistical data modeling tools like Python to conduct in-depth analysis, forecasting, and hypothesis testing.
Work with development and UX teams to understand Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks and their implications on web analytics and tracking.
Develop and implement comprehensive website testing strategies, including A/B testing and multivariate testing, to improve site performance and user engagement.
Validate test feasibility and collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, development, UX/UI) to ensure the proper execution of test strategies.
Monitor and analyze test outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for website optimization.
Assist in the customization and configuration of analytics tools to support ongoing business needs.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, related field, or relevant years of experience.
3+ years of experience in web analytics, data analysis, or a related role.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building and maintaining macros.
Strong experience using Python for statistical data modeling and analysis.
Deep understanding of the Adobe Business Suite, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and other tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of Single Page Applications (SPAs) and how they impact web analytics.
Experience in developing website testing strategies (A/B testing, multivariate testing) and validating test feasibility.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with other web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
