MDW is currently seeking a Website Developer / SharePoint Administrator to support the Office of the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Privacy, Civil Liberties, and Transparency (OATSD(PCLT)) in Alexandria, VA. The Website Developer / SharePoint Administrator will provide full-time support services to the OATSD(PCLT)'s Administrative Office, the Privacy, Civil Liberties, and Freedom of Information Directorate (PCLFD), Intelligence Oversight Directorate (IOD), and the Regulatory Directorate (RD) within the OATSD(PCLT). The successful candidate must demonstrate a familiarity with, and ability to be effective in, the DoD working environment.
The Website Developer / SharePoint Administrator will perform tasks to potentially include:
- Aggregating and preparing website and SharePoint data for agency reports and posting final reports to the Government websites.
- Knowledge management, public facing Website management, updating, providing corrections and adding content as necessary.
- Maintaining SharePoint sites content and functions, providing recommendations to improve task handling.
- Assisting in the development and management of the regulatory processes and procedures within internal Microsoft SharePoint portal, supported by the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Joint Service Provider (JSP) (or other designated DoD support provider).
- Maintaining, supporting, and developing internal and external websites and tools used in the support of FOIA, privacy, civil liberties, Open Government policy, learning management system(s) and other functions.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining Government websites and SharePoint sites in accordance with agency regulations and Federal law (e.g., OMB M-17-06).
- Providing content and developmental support for the DoD OATSD(PCLT) public facing webpage, social media and internal operations portal design.
- Ensuring that all website postings and electronic and information technology are developed, procured, maintained and used in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to create, update, and maintain Federal government websites and SharePoint sites in accordance with agency regulations and Federal law (e.g., OMBM-17-06).
- Experience developing and managing Federal government Microsoft SharePoint portals. Experience should include data management, recommending workflow procedures, documenting individual "permissions" within SharePoint portals, and establishing and updating "how to procedures" for users of the portals.
- Ability to aggregate and prepare website and SharePoint data for Federal agency reports and post final reports to government websites.
- Experience working within the DoD or other Federal agency, or as contract support to such agency, working with Federal regulatory, privacy, civil liberties, or FOIA program(s) is preferred.
Education Requirement/Required Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher. At least two (2) years' work experience designing, developing, and managing Federal agency websites. Experience working within the DoD.
Clearance Requirement(s):
- Candidates for this position must have an Active US Security Clearance (Top Secret with SCI Eligibility).
