Weekend RN Supervisor - Rehabilitation Center

Job Title: Weekend RN Supervisor
Shift: Full-Time Weekend, 7 AM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 11 PM (Double Shift)

Job Description: Join our compassionate and supportive nursing team as a Weekend RN Supervisor! In this role, you will assist the Director of Nursing and Associate Director in managing the daily functions of the Nursing Department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing nursing services to ensure compliance with regulations and facility standards.
• Ensuring staff adhere to their job descriptions and deliver quality care.
• Participating in facility surveys and government inspections.
• Assisting in developing, updating, and implementing residents' discharge plans.
• Supervising nursing staff during rounds to ensure tasks are performed according to professional standards.
• Handling complaints and grievances, reporting findings to the Director of Nursing.
• Welcoming new residents and assisting them as needed.
• Accompanying physicians on rounds when necessary.
• Monitoring medication administration and treatment schedules.
• Providing direct nursing care when required.
• Assisting with LPN and CNA evaluations.

Requirements:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in this state.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and handle various situations as they arise.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures, laws, and regulations for nursing care facilities.
• Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with staff.
• Ability to plan, develop, and implement nursing programs and policies to ensure quality care.
• Willingness to embrace new methods and best practices in nursing.
