About the Job
Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, Dust collection, and other facility equipment.
- Utilize PM documentation to guide the maintenance functions on the equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure facilities are operating efficiently and safely.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
SHIFT:
- Weekend shift hours: Friday - Sunday, 7:30am - 8:00 pm (some overtime required)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with building systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn new skills, requirements, and apply.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 Lbs.) and perform physical tasks.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
