Weld Shop Supervisor - ThompsonFirstGroup

Thompson First Group is seeking a Weld Shop Supervisor for temporary to permanent opportunities for a local client in Aston, PA.

The right candidate will have 3+ year of manufacturing management experience, a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields and/or 7-10 years of overall manufacturing experience, a strong background in metal fabrication including proficiency in mig and tig welding as well as advanced fitting experience, experience with aluminum and steel welding per AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1, and strong computer and blueprint reading skills.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are pluses.
