Title: Welder
Location: Alexandria, LA -Relocation assistance is available
Hire Type: Direct Hire, 1st shift (Monday-Friday)
Salary: $75k-$90k
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment to ensure operate and maintain robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welds.
- Perform MIG and Subarc welding tasks as required by project specifications.
- Program, adjust, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to execute precise welds.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on welded components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production team members to develop and improve welding processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience, focusing on MIG and Subarc welding techniques.
- Previous experience with robotic welding systems or welding on vision systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices in a welding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding or a related field.
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting robotic welding systems.
- Familiarity with various welding codes and standards.
