Welder Assembler 2nd Shift - Johnson Controls

About the Job
- Perform difficult hand welding operations on a wide range of metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, for package units and other complex assemblies
- Able to weld dissimilar metals, layout, cut and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances.
- Weld to high strength and pressure requirements according to ASME code and produce clean welding finishes.
- Operate all types of hand or semi-automatic electric machines and oxyacetylene for welding.
- Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of TIG / MIG welding experience (prior certification preferred)
- Experience operation forklifts, cranes, or electric pallet jacks preferred.

- Starting rate $30.16/hr
- 2nd Shift 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed! However, Training may take place on 1st shift for up to 12 weeks.
- $1.50/Hr shift differential
