Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Requirements:
- Experience:
- Experience with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel required.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding highly preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality products consistently.
- Familiarity with the metric system and ability to perform simple shop math.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses.
- Ability to set up welding machines based on job requirements or Welding Procedure Specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of abilities.
- Ability to stand continuously for long periods.
- Willing to work 40+ hours per week.
- Responsibilities:
- Set up welding machines based on the job or Welding Procedure Specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
- Follow and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications.
- Set up welding cells for serial production runs.
- Operate or assist with machinery used in the production process.
- Assemble items as instructed by the floor supervisor.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, taking proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Prepare product for shipment.
- Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment manually (up to 60 pounds) or using a hoist.
- Uphold all ISO, AWS, and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
