Welder/Fabricator - PrideStaff

PrideStaff is in urgent need of Welders ! We have clients willing to accept a variety of skillsets so newer welders are welcome to apply as well! Pay rate will increase based on experience. 

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process

• Weld metal components using various welding techniques

• Use cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other tools to cut and shape metal

• Follow safety procedures and guidelines

• Maintain welding equipment and tools

• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment

• Identify and select the appropriate materials for each job

• Troubleshoot and resolve welding problems as needed

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process, and will have experience in using welding equipment to join, cut, and shape metal.
 

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum six months experience as a Welder/shop helper

• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
