Welder/Fabricator - Cannonball Recruiting LLC

Pay: $22-25/hr.

1st Shift: 5:30a-3:30p (M-TH) with Friday OT (5:30a-10:30a)

Summary:

• Cannonball Recruiting is looking for a Welder for a high-volume metal fabrication facility in York, PA.  Candidates will be responsible for weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing on various gauges of metal.

Requirements:

• 10 years of Welding experience is ideal; will consider candidates with 7-10 years of experience
• MIG welding on steel is required; TIG experience is a plus

Job Duties:

• Interpret drawings and specifications; including weld requirement symbology
• Perform light and heavy arc and gas welding on items such as frames, racks, metal casings, trucks, skids, low pressure tanks, welding and brazing of dies, etc. using welding machines and acetylene welding equipment
• Perform grinding operations using manual and power tools
• Maintain welding equipment through regular welding equipment maintenance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to understand drawings and specification
• Knowledge and experience working with various welding and finishing equipment
• Ability to work with a wide range of gauges of metal
• Work in cooperation with other welders and team members
