Job Responsibilities:
- Employ welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW) to fuse various metals accurately.
- Operate and manage machines for manufacturing and repairing metal structures, tools, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, calculating welding dimensions with precision.
- Test welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform additional duties such as cutting, soldering, or brazing as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent).
- Experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and calculate welding dimensions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to Metairie, LA.
