We have a current need for a Welding Inspector based in Southern Illinois.

Responsibilities:

• Utility Inspector for natural gas projects distribution projects.
• Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
• Identify and report any welding defects or non-conformities.
• Maintain a professional relationship with client and their contractors other team members, and consistently deliver excellent client work.

Requirements:

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent (CPWI)
• Enjoys working in the field
• Possession of a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record is an ongoing requirement.
