Welding Technician - Quick Hire Staffing

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/Welding Certificate (min 2 Years) with focus on robotic welding processes
• 2 Years related work experience
• Ability to read and interpret product prints, dimensional reports (GD&T)
• Robotic experience
• Manual welding applications
• Excellent Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Direct production support of both Laser and Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) welding processes
• Completing variant changeovers as directed by the production planner
• Set-up and maintenance of Welding fixtures, Poke Yoke Systems, Laser welding process monitoring system (4D) and Vision detection software (VMT)
• Adjustment of the welding process through modification to the robot coordinates
• Completion of process audit on a daily basis
