About the Job
The Well and Pump Sales Consultant is responsible for projecting a positive image of Carroll Water in both appearance and communication as well as providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, they are tasked with demonstrating the value of not only services and projects but also equipment provided by Carroll Water. Working independently, Consultants visit the homes and businesses of potential clients, provide onsite water analysis and discuss options for improving their water quality as well as their water delivery systems, IE well and pump. These appointments will take place Monday-Saturday, and may occur in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Some of the offerings will be:
· Well Pump repair/replacement.
· 7 Point Well Inspections
· Well drilling projects for both air and mud rotary water wells.
· Geothermal projects.
· Trenching and excavating projects.
· Water Treatment projects for any well and pump projects sold by the consultant.
· Well liner installation.
· Well cleanout.
· Well chlorination.
· Hydra-fracking.
Additionally, it is expected that you will focus on business development. You will be tasked with building relationships and attending industry functions like:
· Realtors and real estate agencies.
· Builders and construction companies.
· Home Services companies.
· Other well and pump providers (IE, pump companies that don’t drill and vice versa or companies that want to subcontract to CW)
· Suppliers
· Plumbers
· Water Treatment companies (that don’t do pump work or drilling)
· Industry training events
The Well and Pump Sales Consultant should “own” the project he/she sold and remain as the main point of contact for the client. Additionally, it is expected that the Consultant, when possible, provide introductions between the client and the CW Team completing the project. And at times, when a change order is needed, it is expected that the Consultant will help to facilitate the signatures and approval by the client. Also, it will be required that the Well and Pump Sales Consultant be available to pull pumps as needed and may from time to time need to physically work on the jobs sold.
