Wellness Director - Make a Difference in Seniors' Lives!

One of our top clientsis seeking a passionate and experienced Wellness Director to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enriching the lives of our residents by creating and overseeing a comprehensive wellness program.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage a dynamic wellness program that caters to the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, activities, therapy) to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
- Conduct resident assessments to identify individual needs and preferences.
- Oversee a team of wellness professionals and volunteers.
- Organize and lead a variety of engaging activities, including fitness classes, social events, educational workshops, and creative pursuits.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in senior wellness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Gerontology, Recreation Therapy, Public Health, or RN License (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a senior living community or related setting.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing wellness programs for older adults.
- Strong understanding of senior wellness principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff members.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors.
