Cogir Senior Living is hiring a compassionate and dedicated LPN/LVN Wellness Nurse to join our growing team in our premier retirement community Cogir of Queen Anne.
Our Wellness Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of resident care in the community under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director, performing routine assessments of resident health status for both new and existing residents, and the subsequent development of the care or service plan.

What will you do as a Wellness Nurse - LPN/LVN?
- Communicate with the Health and Wellness Director about resident needs to ensure consistent quality services.
- Perform assessments and reassessments according to policies.
- Participate in providing hands-on care and specific nursing tasks as required.
- Provide clinical support and training of all care staff.
- Supervise the care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards, fostering teamwork and excellence.
- Assist in the transcription of physicians' orders and the review of new physicians' orders.
- Ensure resident records and charting are current and up to date.
- Act as the contact for all issues related to resident care.
- Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations.
- Interact with residents' families, physicians, and medical personnel as needed.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
- Valid, unencumbered nursing license (LPN/LVN).
- A minimum of 3 of experience in Senior Living (IL/AL/MC) is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certifications as required by the state, or ability to obtain.
- Understanding of medical terminology adequate to pass medications and communicate with medical professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with all residents, families, and visitors.
- A high degree of accuracy in all assignments and ability to manage time effectively.
