Eden Vista Stow is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurses to join our team in Stow, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a warm and supportive environment.
Position: Wellness Nurse
Job Description
- To provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, prevention, and evaluation.
- Direct the day to day activities of the nursing assistants
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration.
- Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physician, nursing supervisor and family
- Complete required record keeping upon residents admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
Are you:
- Customer service orientated
- You must have a current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse or RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
- You have a thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
- You are experienced in the hands-on care of memory-impaired residents.
- You can maintain and update effective service plans and supervise the care staff.
- You have a comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulations and laws.
- A Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN, LPN Nurse, LVN, New Grad LPN, Nursing student, or an LPN Travel Nurse/ Travel Contract LPN that is looking for a permanent facility with great benefits
- Experienced in long-term care preferred
- Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
- Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
Requirements
You love working with people and handle everyday challenges with a smile!
- Graduate or Future Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Hold a Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN in a long term care setting
- A natural problem solver
- Are committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
