About the Job
Primary Purpose: Oversees the training, scheduling, and recruitment of CK servant team—Upholds Calvary Kids safety and classroom policies and procedures.
Secondary Purpose: To support all Calvary Kids and Westside outreach programs and special events, fostering the Westside Campus community throughout the year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Invites potential servants into the ministry.
· Connects with and encourages classroom servants weekly.
· Equip and train servants in your classrooms
· Manage servant staffing in classrooms.
o Maintaining rosters to reflect current servants & servant information
· Prepares CK purchased educational materials to support weekend lesson plans
o Schedules, lesson books, activities, crafts, classroom posters, classroom handouts
o Ensure Playlister playlist for Bible lessons is updated
· Prepares classrooms and ensures rooms are sanitary, clean, and safe
· Prepare the family room before the weekend service
· Places all curriculum, activities, and crafts in classrooms before service.
· Attends weekly Calvary Kids & Westside meetings.
· Sends a weekly report to the Director of Calvary Kids and Westside Campus pastor.
· Follows up weekly with new families
· Ensure that the Teacher’s Workroom is kept clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
· Make purchases for CK and WS campus
· Attends Calvary Kids special training sessions.
· Supports Calvary Kids Osuna services as needed.
· Supports Calvary Kids for all special events (Easter, VBS, Freedom Celebration, Fall Fest, Christmas)
· Prays for servants, children, parents, and church
Westside Campus Administration
o Manage incoming and outgoing calls for WS campus.
o Schedule meetings and events for WS Campus Pastor
o Submit eSpace & MP requests on behalf of WS Campus
o Coordinate Maintenance and Janitorial requests
o Transport WS supplies from Osuna campus
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
· Knowledge of child development, growth, and characteristics: Babies through 5th grade.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
· Ministry Platform & Classroom Manager (will train)
· Ministry Grid & Playlister for Curriculum (will train)
· eSpace (will train)
· First Aide, CPR, AED Certified (will train)
· Trained to respond in an emergency or lockdown situation
· Possess a servant’s heart.
· Enthusiastic, available, flexible, and teachable.
· Your life reflects a commitment and obedience to God and His word.
· Be a ministry team leader as well as a team member.
· Must be solid in their Biblical understanding
· Maintains a growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
· Be devoted to prayer.
· Must attend at least one in-person Calvary service a week
