Job Overview:Shriners Children's Chicago has an opportunity for a part-time Wheelchair Seating Technician to work within our Rehabilitation Department. Responsibilities:- Manages, cleans, repairs, organizes and maintains high volumes of rehab medical equipment, predominantly wheelchairs; but may include shower chairs, walkers, commodes, crutches, etc.
- Provides knowledge of molded and planar seating systems.
- May supervise volunteers in wheelchair repairs where applicable.
- Maintains program inventories.
- May train additional technicians.

Qualifications:Required:
- High School Diploma
- Minimal one year related experience
- Seating orders
- Mobility systems and repairs
- Fabricating seating devices
Preferred:
- RESNA ATP certification
