Mandatory Skills:
- Defect and User Story validation during development QA and release cycles
- Intimate knowledge and understanding of 802.11ac standards and associated performance, functional and inter-op (CE, CPE, etc.)
- Rate vs Orientation, Rate vs. Range performance testing and all other performance related WiFi testing-
- Automation development and scripting languages
- Octoscope Solution, Ixia Veriwave, and other WiFi related tools such as Ixia Chariot, iPerf, Channelyzer, Airmagnet, etc
- Enhanced WiFi feature testing
- Excellent verbal ability to articulate and communicate test results and procedures to external teams
- Testing, triage and feature validation of Business Wireless Gateways
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp up and test new projects
- Create test lab or customer environments for trouble shooting any defects or issues that may have originated in the field or captured during QA development cycles
- Clearly understands and objectively interprets collected data without much needed help
- Able to pars raw WiFi traffic data during RCA and validation efforts
- New Wi-Fi features validation, analysis and reporting of test results
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
- QA testing, trouble-shooting and data analysis of WiFi enabled Business Wireless Gateways with the core focus on native code transition to RDK-B release model.
