We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:
Join our team of pediatric and adolescent medicine physicians who provide a comprehensive approach to childcare from birth through adolescence.
Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and administer medications and treatments.
Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.
Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:
Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile including resume/work experience, *** portal, all onboarding disclosures/questionnaires).
Experience:
Minimum two years experience required as Certified Medical Assistant.
Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience including rooming patients.
Experience in administering vaccinations to pediatric patient population required.
Epic experience highly preferred.
Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
Licensure and Certification:
Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN.
BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or
In lieu of the above requirements, two (2) years of recent Medical Assistant experience and current CMA, RMA or CCMA certification.
Reference
Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
Floating
Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Location: UW Health West Clinic: 451 Junction Road, Madison, WI 53717 AND UW Health 20 S. Park Street, Madison, WI 53715 (traveler will float as needed)
Parking: Free parking onsite

Shifts:
40 hrs/week, Days, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm depending on clinic needs. No weekends or holidays. Traveler will float between two locations as needed.
