We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Preparation (Ambulatory Services) to:
" Help support our pharmacy services across the entire Madison area.
" Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients with their take-home medications in a fast-paced health care environment.
" Process claims and help patients navigate complex insurance issues.
" Work hands-on with medications of all kinds.
Minimum Requirements:
" Facility Requirements:
o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, *** portal, onboarding documents).
" Experience:
o Traveler must have one year previous Pharmacy Technician experience in retail setting. (Retail experience preferred in the last three years).
o Epic experience highly preferred.
o Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
" Licensure and Certification:
o Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration is required.
o CPT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
" Education:
" High school diploma or equivalent.
" References
o Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (from supervisor or manager only) for work experience in the last two years.
" Floating
o Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract
" Work Location:
o UW Health Pharmacy Services Building 3185 Deming Way, Middleton, WI 53562 AND floating to other UW Health Clinics in Dane County as needed
" Parking:
o Free parking at assigned clinics

Shifts:
40 hrs/week, Day shifts, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 8:0 PM, 8 hour shifts.
