Windchill Solution Architect - LM3 Laser

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Windchill Solution Architect

to join our team. This role is crucial for aligning our technical solutions with business processes, ensuring streamlined operations and maximizing productivity. If you have a strong background in SQL databases and extensive experience with the Windchill suite, including PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, and ProjectLink, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design:

Architect and design solutions in PTC Windchill to meet business requirements efficiently

Module Implementation:

Implement and customize Windchill modules (PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, ProjectLink) and related components like Options and Variant Module and Partslink Classification

Integration Development:

Integrate solutions with ThingWorx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate for enhanced functionalities

Reporting:

Create actionable reports using Windchill Business Reporting tools, including Cognos and Jasper

Application Development:

Build robust applications using Core Java, J2EE, and GWT

Database Management:

Manage and optimize SQL databases for improved data storage and retrieval

Server Configuration:

Configure and maintain server environments, including Apache, and develop web components using XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP

Dashboard Management:

Develop and manage user-friendly dashboards for easy access to business data and analytics

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Deep knowledge of Windchill modules, especially PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, ProjectLink, Options and Variant Module, and Partslink Classification

Integration Experience:

Proficiency with ThingWorx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate

Reporting Skills:

Strong skills with Windchill Business Reporting (Cognos) and Jasper Reporting

Programming:

Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, and GWT

Database Management:

Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Apache, XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP

Dashboard Development:

Skilled in developing and managing web portal dashboards

Analytical Skills:

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities

Team Collaboration:

Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a team environment

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

5 to 8 years

of experience as a Windchill Solution Architect or in a similar role
