As a Windows Engineer, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environment, overseeing 150+ compute servers hosted in Azure and 200 Windows desktops. This role involves managing desktops through Group Policy/Active Directory, ensuring system performance, tuning, and maintaining the Microsoft 365 E5 solution. You will also participate in an on-call rotation one week per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Windows Server 2019/2016 environments and oversee 150+ Azure-hosted servers.
- Administer Active Directory and Group Policy for desktop management.
- Provide expertise in managing multiple domains and Microsoft DNS.
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365 E5, including tuning and hardening solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Ensure system performance, security, and stability for both servers and desktops.
- Participate in an on-call rotation one week per month.
- Provide technical documentation and support for system modifications.
- Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and technical teams.
- Work independently to complete assigned projects with limited supervision.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2016 administration.
- Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Expertise in Windows 10 administration and managing multiple domains.
- Experience with Microsoft DNS and Azure IaaS (preferred).
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 E5 solutions, including performance tuning and hardening.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide solutions.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with managing large-scale environments in Azure.
