Job Title: Windows System Administrator (LAN\WAN, Windows 2008+ Servers, Windows Clusters)
Location: Englewood, CO 80112
Position Type: Contract
Interview Mode: Phone, then Face-to-Face
Rate: DOE (W2 Only)
This position will be responsible for internal dedicated and cloud server infrastructure. This role will be working closely with others in maintaining and expanding our network infrastructure, servers and data storage. We are looking for a fearless Systems Administrator to be our modern-day hero. The ideal candidate is someone that has in-depth experience administering enterprise level systems, a strong desire to learn new skills and have fun doing it.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work on various system projects related to Windows, storage and application support.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and projects/operational requirements
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical related field
• 5+ years of Systems Administration experience
• Experience administering Windows server environments including LAN\WAN architecture
• Experience installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, monitoring and maintaining Windows 2008+ Servers
• Experience configuring and maintaining an Active Directory Forest, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Preferred
• Experience with Windows Clusters
• Understanding of multi-tier application architecture and technologies (web servers, database servers, load balancers, etc.)
• Utilizing PowerShell as a server administration tool
• Administering environments hosting Microsoft Dynamics ERP applications
• Administering servers hosting SQL Server
• Experience with Rackspace
• Experience administering RHEL environments
• Experience administering Sitecore environments
• Experience with SAN configuration and optimization
