About the Job
Interpret Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the wiring requirements for specific projects.
Wiring and Assembly: Assemble electrical components.
Cable and Harness Assembly: Fabricate and assemble cables and wire harnesses, ensuring proper organization and connection of wires.
Panel Wiring: Wire control panels, distribution panels, and electrical cabinets, ensuring all connections are secure and in compliance with safety regulations.
Soldering and Crimping: Utilize soldering and crimping techniques to make secure and reliable connections. Properly utilize pneumatic and crimping tools.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the wiring process to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wiring diagrams, changes, and work performed.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other team members to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow during the assembly and wiring process.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in electrical wiring is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical wiring, assembly, or related fields.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and crimping tools.
